Felipe Lima returns to UFC Paris next Saturday (5), when he faces Morgan Charriere in the featherweight category (up to 65,8 kg). Before the fight, the Brazilian highlighted the importance of having trained alongside Khamzat Chimaev for the last five years and revealed the lessons learned during the period of coexistence with the former middleweight champion (up to 83,9 kg).
In an exclusive interview with SUPER LUTAS , Felipe said that he closely followed Chimaev's evolution and stated that the Chechen's trajectory serves as an inspiration for other athletes. According to the 'Jungle Boy', his teammate's dedication is one of the main examples he has taken to his own career.

“During these five years I trained with Chimaev, a guy who is very hardworking, a guy who has enormous dedication, he only thinks about fighting. I learned, of course, many things from him. It's great to see these guys working hard and a guy who came from nothing, lived at the gym and won the UFC belt. He's a guy who gives hope to any athlete,” said Felipe Lima.
In addition to the change in weight class, the duel with Charriere also marks the fighter's return to the UFC after more than a year. The Frenchman, who has 21 wins, 12 losses and one draw, will have the support of the crowd at the Accor Arena, but Felipe has already stated that he considers the matchup favorable to his fighting style.
