Aline Pereira, younger sister of Alex Poatan , has the chance to finally join the UFC roster. The Brazilian is scheduled to compete in the Contender Series and, to secure a spot in the world's largest MMA organization, she 'only' needs to impress Dana White.
According to information from Léo Guimarães, Aline Pereira will face Smilla Sundell, a Kickboxing specialist and ONE Championship Muay Thai champion. The fight is scheduled for October 13th.

Despite having an inconsistent record in MMA, with three wins and two losses, Aline Pereira has been excelling in Karate Combat. The Brazilian has accumulated three consecutive victories in the organization, two of them by knockout, and has already won the event's title.
Smilla Sundell, on the other hand, is undefeated in MMA, with two wins. Under ONE Championship Muay Thai rules, the Swede also maintains a perfect record, with five victories, two of them in title fights.

Dana White's Contender Series has established itself as one of the main gateways to the UFC. The program has already revealed champions such as Sean O'Malley , Jamahal Hill , Carlos Ulberg , and Jack Della Maddalena , as well as names that have become prominent figures in the organization, such as Jean Silva , Carlos Prates , and Josh Hokit.
The program functions as a kind of selection process. Participants face each other in three-round fights, each lasting five minutes, but the objective goes beyond simply winning. To earn a contract with the UFC, fighters need to impress Dana White and convince the executive that they are ready to join the biggest MMA event in the world.
