Glover Teixeira analyzed Alex Poatan 's next step in the heavyweight division (up to 120,2 kg) and responded to a possible fight for the Brazilian in the new category. According to the former UFC champion, one of the names that could cross paths with the São Paulo native possesses characteristics that could favor the knockout artist.

In an interview with Laerte Viana's YouTube channel, available this Tuesday (1st), Glover was asked about possible opponents for Poatan. In his response, the veteran highlighted a name also known for his strong knockout power.

“I think Pavlovich would also be a good fight, he’s a more stationary guy who comes forward, hits hard, but doesn’t have the same reach as Poatan, and I believe it’s also a good fight for Poatan, definitely a tougher guy than Hokit,” said Glover Teixeira.

According to Glover, Sergei Pavlovich would be an interesting opponent for Alex Poatan because he has a more aggressive style and constantly seeks to engage in combat. Despite this, the former light heavyweight champion (up to 93 kg) believes his opponent has important weapons to exploit in the fight. The difference in reach and the Brazilian's precision could be decisive factors in controlling the distance and avoiding the heavyweight's most dangerous strikes.
