Most fighters tend to reveal the difficulties faced during fight preparation only after the fight. Jean Silva , however, doesn't follow that path. Scheduled to face José Miguel Delgado in the main event of Noche UFC , set for September 12th, 'Nerd' doesn't hide the problems encountered during his training camp. According to the Brazilian, the adversities faced throughout his preparation serve as extra fuel for his performance in the octagon.
In a video posted to his social media stories, Jean Silva showed some of the injuries he suffered during training. The fighter revealed that he has already suffered four cuts, most of them on his feet.

“I think that was the fourth cut on that field. It was on my foot. I almost had to stitch myself up under my toe here. There’s my eyebrow. I kicked my teammate’s elbow and it hit like this (on the tip), and then it opened up,” explained Jean Silva.
Despite the physical problems accumulated during training camp, Jean Silva demonstrated that he is even more motivated to get into action. The Brazilian joked that he's spending more time getting beaten up during training and admitted to being increasingly anxious to unleash all that energy on his opponent when the fight comes.
"I'm just getting beaten up (at this camp)... I really want to punch someone," the nerd concluded.
