UFC Shanghai will not bring back good memories for Xiao Long . The Chinese fighter, who was fighting at home, was brutally beaten by the Italian Francesco Nuzzi and starred in a bizarre scene at the end of the fight ( see the video below ). The event took place in the early hours of Saturday (29), in China.

While trying to get up after being knocked out , Xiao Long , still unable to control his legs, lost his balance and went towards the open door of the octagon. The fighter almost fell out of the fighting area. A bigger accident was only avoided because the fighter was saved by a UFC member who was entering the cage ( see the video below ).

The platform where the UFC octagon is set up is 1,20m high, and a fall after the knockout could cause serious injury to fighter Xiao Long.
