After the fight returned to the center of the octagon, Liu found his range and began landing his jabs without Levi being able to counter-attack. Like a sniper, the Chinese fighter chose his strikes and even landed a knockdown that rocked the Brazilian.
Levi still showed resilience and tried to exchange blows, but ended up being caught by a cross that finished the fight and sealed his defeat by knockout in the first round.

Su Mudaerji surpasses Alex Perez and enters the top 15 UFC flyweights
Su Mudaerji and Alex Perez faced off again in the octagon at UFC Shanghai . After their no-contest at UFC Macau in May, the Chinese fighter and the American delivered a new version of the classic clash of styles between grappler and striker, with the home fighter's stand-up game prevailing.
With the victory, Su Mudaerji reached his 20th career win, his fourth consecutive in the UFC. Furthermore, the win means the Chinese fighter will enter the top 15 of the flyweight rankings (up to 56,7 kg) in the next update.
