Glover Teixeira weighs in heavier than Shogun and confirms the fight after the Spaten Fight Night 3 weigh-in.

The stars of the third edition of Spaten Fight Night went through the official weigh-in before entering the ring. With former UFC champions Glover Teixeira and Mauricio Shogun in the main event, all ten fighters on the gala night's card made weight for their respective weight classes.

In the main event, Glover Teixeira was the first to step on the scale and weighed in at 109,2 kg, almost five kilos more than Mauricio Shogun , who weighed in at 104,7 kg. The fight will be valid for the super heavyweight division, with a limit of up to 110 kg.

Before the former UFC champions enter the ring, lightweights (up to 61,2 kg) Luan Medeiros and Juan Cruz will face off for the South American title in a Brazil vs. Argentina duel.

Olympic medalists Bia Souza and Rafaela Silva also stepped on the scale and confirmed their matches under judo rules.

Who are the five Brazilians scheduled to fight at UFC Shanghai?

Representing the heavyweight category (78 kg+), Bia Souza weighed in at 133 kg, while her opponent, Raz Hershko, weighed 118 kg. Rafaela Silva weighed in at 62,6 kg and confirmed her fight against Prisca Awiti in the 63 kg division.

Declared rivals Felipe Preguiça and Nicholas Meregali also made weight and confirmed their duel under Jiu-Jitsu rules, which opens the fight night.

Preguiça weighed in at 103,8 kg, while Nicholas Meregali came in at 100 kg. The two confirmed their fight in the super heavyweight division (99 kg+).
