The Chinese fighter faces Umar Nurmagomedov in a crucial duel for the bantamweight division (up to 61,2 kg). Despite having the support of the local crowd to emerge victorious, the fighter will have to overcome the odds from bookmakers to defeat Khabib Nurmagomedov 's cousin.

The Chinese player is considered the underdog by the bookmakers. A victory for Song Yadong pays 5,25 for every real bet. That is, a bet of R$ 100 would yield R$ 525 in case of triumph. On the other hand, someone who invests the same amount in Umar Nurmagomedov would receive R$ 114 if the Dagestani confirms his favoritism and emerges victorious.

Nurmagomedov, on the other hand, has accumulated 20 wins and only one loss in his career. The Dagestani's only defeat came in a bantamweight title fight, when he was defeated by Merab Dvalishvili.
