Paulo Borrachinha believes he is the ideal name to challenge for the UFC light heavyweight title (up to 93 kg). With champion Carlos Ulberg injured and with no return date set, Dana White has given the green light for the creation of an interim title in the division. After debuting in the category with a victory, the Minas Gerais native considers it unfair to be left out of the interim title fight.

In a post on X, Borrachinha made it clear that he hopes to be involved in the next title fight and described the possibility of being overlooked by the UFC as a great injustice.
