“Because he doesn’t want to face the reality of what this means. He tries to be friendly with the others in the octagon, tries to make it seem like we’re not trying to kill each other. But I know he’s trying to hurt me, that he’s trying to take away everything I’ve worked for my whole life. I’m not going to let that happen. I want more shine. I want it to be as bright as possible,” said the fighter.
“I want to see how good I am in all these areas, I want the opportunity to grow. Turn the lights brighter, make everything heavier. I want that. I don’t know what he’s thinking, I don’t know how he’s moving, but he better not underestimate me. I want him to be the most prepared version of himself. I don’t want excuses from him. I want the best version of him,” he concluded.
