Dana White is waging an intense and silent war within his own feelings. Responsible for the worldwide success of the UFC, the president of the world's largest MMA organization has established himself as one of the leading figures in combat sports when it comes to business. Behind his firm stance and career marked by major decisions, however, the executive also carries a personal philosophy that influences how he views the successes, failures, and risks of his career.
In an interview with Brianna LaPaglia, when asked about his regrets, Dana White revealed that he avoids looking back and prefers to make decisions based on what he believes at the moment.
“Forget about regretting it now, I don’t want to be the guy sleeping in my deathbed regretting it. That’s what I don’t want to do, so I really, I do everything I want to do and I don’t have any hang-ups,” said Dana White.

The executive also highlighted that business is marked by trial and error. In his view, there's no way to know in advance if a decision will be successful; it's necessary to put it into practice to discover its true potential.
"And when you talk about business decisions or things you do, you get some right, you get some wrong. Some things work, some things don't. But you have to prove them to know if they work or not," concluded the UFC president.
