Even without competing, Islam Makhachev continues to create memorable moments in the world of MMA. Serving as Magomed Magomedov's corner during PFL Tampa last Saturday (22), the current UFC welterweight champion (up to 77,1 kg) tried to find a solution for his training partner, who ended up dislocating his shoulder in the second round. The moment quickly gained fame on social media.
Beyond the unusual situation, fans were also struck by the roughness of the pound-for-pound ranking leader's movements, who, despite his efforts, was unable to reposition Magomedov's arm. Islam threw in the towel just ten seconds into the third round, as the Dagestan Clan member could no longer defend himself due to the severity of the injury.
