At 36 years old, the former lightweight champion (up to 70,3 kg) revealed that he has not yet received any offers to return to the octagon and talked about the next steps in his career.
In an interview with the 'Olhar da Luta' page on Instagram, published last Saturday (22), Charles stated that he has not yet received any offer for his next fight, despite the constant speculation involving his name. The Chute Boxe fighter made his objective for the next step clear.

“I don’t have any fights scheduled. No opponent has been offered to me. People keep suggesting names, but I have nothing. The truth is, I want to fight again before the end of the year. I want to have one more fight,” said Charles do Bronx.
The Brazilian is coming off a victory over Max Holloway at UFC 326 in March, and now aims for another appearance in the octagon this season. Although he doesn't have a defined opponent yet, "The Shining One" has made it clear that he wants to return to action in the coming months.
