Gilbert Burns has hung up his UFC gloves , but remains open to new challenges outside the world's most famous octagon. Retired from MMA, the Jiu-Jitsu world champion has already shown that he remains dangerous by competing in UFC BJJ and has now signaled interest in facing names like Arman Tsarukyan and Colby Covington under RAF wrestling rules.
In an interview with MMA Fighting, Durinho also mentioned Khamzat Chimaev as a possible opponent, in addition to highlighting Tsarukyan and Covington as interesting options for a potential matchup in the sport.

Gilbert Burns , 39, was successful in Jiu-Jitsu and is a legend in MMA. The Brazilian began his career in the sport in 2012, debuted in the UFC in 2014, and retired in 2026. At his peak, he competed for the welterweight title.
In this sport, Durinho built a record of 22 wins and ten losses. His main victories were over Demian Maia , Jorge Masvidal , Neil Magny , Stephen Thompson , and Tyron Woodley.
