Gregory Robocop already has his next step defined in the UFC. The Brazilian entered the main event of UFC Sacramento, held last Saturday (22), and defeated Anthony Hernandez by unanimous decision of the judges. The result should propel him into the top 6 of the middleweight rankings (up to 83,9 kg). Following that, the Brazilian giant challenged former champion Dricus Du Plessis with an eye on a possible approach to the title fight.
Still in the octagon, during an interview with Michael Bisping , Gregory Robocop made it clear that he wants to face Du Plessis in his next fight. The Brazilian called out the former champion for a confrontation and pointed to the duel as a way to position himself as the main challenger for the middleweight title.
“ Dricus Du Plessis , where are you? I want you. Let's go. The number 1 contender for the belt,” said Gregory Robocop.

After the event, during the press conference, Gregory reiterated his support for the fight with Dricus Du Plessis . The Brazilian stated that he considers the duel a coherent option for his future in the UFC and revealed that he intends to speak with his managers and the organization to assess the possibility of making the fight happen.
“ Dricus Du Plessis , this fight makes a lot of sense for my next bout. I'll talk to my managers and the UFC and see what can happen,” concluded the Brazilian giant.
