Apparently, fans will have a little more of Cris Cyborg in action in combat sports. In the main fight of PFL Tampa, an event held this Saturday (22), the 41-year-old MMA legend beat Ketlen Vieira by unanimous decision, in what was even classified as her farewell. However, the Brazilian, despite her advanced age to compete in the sport, surprised by not putting the gloves in the center of the cage and showed herself willing to extend her legacy.

In the post-fight interview, Cyborg challenged two of the best female fighters in history: Kayla Harrison , UFC bantamweight champion (up to 61,2 kg), and Claressa Shields , boxing legend and multi-champion. And the legendary professional didn't target the Americans by chance. The Brazilian is a declared rival of both athletes.

Furthermore, Cyborg's trash talk with Kayla and Claressa is constant and hostile. Therefore, as she is in the final stretch of her career, the Brazilian, who competes in MMA and boxing, makes it clear that she is willing to extend her career to have super fights against her rivals.

“I’ve been undefeated for eight years and I’m not going to wait. Anyone, anytime, at any weight. I’m going to send my message to Clarissa Shields. That girl is afraid to fight me. This girl has more heart than you, I have eight boxing fights and you have over 100. I’m ready to challenge you. Eat less. 72 kg, let’s go,” she said.

“Kayla is here. Come here! Hey, Kayla, you’ve been running away for a long time. You’ve been running from the PFL, running away from me. Now, you’ve come here to watch my fight? I’m ready for you. I hope you recover from your neck injury, fight Amanda, and then I’m here,” she concluded.

Legendary Career

Cris Cyborg , 41, has made her mark in MMA. The Brazilian began her career in the sport in 2005 and continues to compete at the highest level. Her resume boasts titles from Strikeforce, Invicta, UFC, Bellator, and the PFL. In the sport , the Curitiba native has built a record of 30 wins, two losses, and one no contest. Her main victories were over Cat Zingano , Gina Carano, Holly Holm , Ketlen Vieira , Larissa Pacheco , Marloes Coenen (twice), and Yana Santos.

In boxing, Cyborg debuted in 2022 and is undefeated. In total, the Brazilian has won eight fights, six of them by knockout.
