Legendary Cris Cyborg continues her unstoppable run in MMA. At 41 years old, the Brazilian entered the main event of PFL Tampa, held this Saturday (22), and many imagined that this would be her last appearance in the sport. However, the veteran still has plenty of fight left in her and does not rule out continuing to compete. The athlete defeated her compatriot Ketlen Vieira by unanimous decision (49-46, 48-47, 49-46) and surprised everyone by avoiding the topic of retirement. So much so that the Curitiba native did not put her gloves in the center of the cage.

As expected, the fight wasn't easy for Cyborg, as Ketlen is a high-level athlete. Even so, the MMA legend ignored her advanced age to compete and remained true to her game from start to finish. Cris got the better of the striking and hurt her opponent throughout the five rounds. It's true that, in the fourth round, Vieira made the veteran bleed, but not enough to win the important fight. At the end of the bout, the Brazilians smiled and hugged, displaying great sportsmanship.

Cris Cyborg , 41, has made her mark in MMA. The Brazilian began her career in the sport in 2005 and continues to compete at the highest level. Her resume boasts titles from Strikeforce, Invicta, UFC, Bellator, and the PFL. In the sport , the Curitiba native has built a record of 30 wins, two losses, and one no contest. Her main victories were over Cat Zingano , Gina Carano, Holly Holm , Ketlen Vieira , Larissa Pacheco , Marloes Coenen (twice), and Yana Santos.
In boxing, Cyborg debuted in 2022 and is undefeated. In total, the Brazilian has won eight fights, six of them by knockout.
