In the co-main event of UFC Sacramento, Vitor Petrino showed control throughout the three rounds and defeated the experienced Serghei Spivac by unanimous decision this Saturday (22) . The Brazilian alternated between striking and good ground game, exploited low kicks and managed to impose his rhythm against the Moldovan. At 28 years old, the Minas Gerais native now has a record of 15 wins and two losses and reaches his fourth victory in the category.

The Brazilian started the fight with a high guard, relying on low kicks. Within the first minute, he began combining attacks with punches. Spivac landed a good jab at the two-minute mark, but Petrino managed to move well and resume his game plan. With plenty of movement, he began to look for combinations, alternating kicks and punches.

Vitor Petrino started the second round looking to take the fight to the ground. On the first attempt, Spivac managed to get back to his feet, but on the second opportunity, the Brazilian managed to take him down. Petrino took advantage of the advantageous position to land punches and elbows and reached mount with about a minute and a half left in the round. In the last 20 seconds, however, he lost the dominant position. Even so, the Brazilian regained the advantage in the round.

In the third round, the first few minutes were marked by striking exchanges. After Spivac landed a good punch, Petrino sought the fight on the ground and managed to establish a dominant position, even transitioning to his back. In the final two minutes, the fight returned to striking, and the Brazilian continued to exploit low kicks and combine punches. With a consistent performance across all three rounds, Petrino secured the victory by unanimous decision.
