Reinier de Ridder arrived in full force in the UFC light heavyweight division (up to 93 kg) and ended his bad phase in his career. After suffering serious problems in his weight cut to compete in the middleweight division (up to 83,9 kg), the giant Dutchman, 1,93m tall, visibly healthier, managed to recover in the higher weight class. At UFC Sacramento , an event held this Saturday (22), the athlete shone and punished Roman Dolidze , winning by technical knockout in the first round.
By confirming his status as favorite, De Ridder extended his positive record in the UFC. In the world's largest MMA organization since 2024, the Dutchman has won five fights and lost two. And, due to the convincing result, the athlete is now close to entering the top 15 of the light heavyweight division.

De Ridder started the fight aggressively. Courageously, Dolidze surprised everyone by pulling De Ridder, a grappling specialist, into his guard in search of a leg lock. However, De Ridder defended, got on top, and delivered an endless sequence of punches and elbows to Dolidze, forcing the referee to stop the fight.

War and brutal knockout.
The exciting MarQuel Mederos and Mason Jones did not disappoint and delivered a true war to MMA fans. In the lightweight division (up to 70,3 kg), the athletes attacked each other with everything they had, alternating good moments in the fight, but the American came out on top.
In the second round, Mederos withstood the Welshman's blows, staggered him with elbows, and, seeing him in a precarious situation, finished the job with a violent sequence of punches. Jones was so stunned that he was knocked out standing up. Thus, the athlete remains undefeated in the UFC, with four wins and one draw.
