With 60 professional fights under his belt and as one of the main coaches at Fighting Nerds, Flavio Álvaro had no doubts when choosing the most talented fighter he has ever seen in martial arts. The coach revealed his choice when talking about an athlete he knows well and who is now preparing for one of the biggest challenges of his career.
In an interview with Connect Cast on Youtube, available last Wednesday (19), Flavio was asked which fighter he considers the most talented he has ever seen and he did not hesitate to point out the name. Highlighting the technical ability and potential shown by the Brazilian since his first steps in MMA.

Mauricio Ruffy recently left Fighting Nerds , but his departure doesn't seem to have affected the respect between the fighter and the team's coaches. The Brazilian is now preparing to face Arman Tsarukyan in the co-main event of UFC 331.
The fight will be one of the biggest challenges of Ruffy 's career , as he seeks to move closer to the top of the UFC lightweight division (up to 70,3 kg). On the other side, Tsarukyan arrives as one of the most highly regarded names in the category, making the duel an important test for the Brazilian.

At 30 years old, Ruffy is considered one of the leading names in the new generation of the UFC lightweight division. A professional since 2016, the Brazilian has a record of 14 wins and two losses, with 13 victories by knockout. Among the main results of his career are victories over names like Michael Chandler and Rafael Fiziev.
