Brazil has placed another fighter in the UFC via Contender Series. In the second episode of the tenth season of the program, held this Tuesday (18), in Las Vegas (USA), Kaik Brito shone by applying one of the most violent knockouts of 2026 to the favorite Namo Fazil in the third round. As could not be otherwise, Dana White, impressed with the fight he watched and with its outcome, presented the former Oktagon MMA champion with the contract and showed himself excited.

After the fight and at the post-Contender Series press conference, the UFC president made a point of praising Kaik. And Dana's reaction is justified, as the fight had numerous provocations, a frenetic pace, and the good kind of savagery that fans seek in the octagon. And, 12 seconds into the third and final round, fate smiled on the Brazilian, who knocked out the representative from Kurdistan with a powerful right cross.
It's true that, before the knockout, Kaik went through some tough times in the octagon due to the pressure and power of the bad boy. But the Brazilian, experienced in MMA, remained calm and silenced Fazil and his noisy fans, who packed the Apex arena. Therefore, due to his mature and convincing performance, Dana believes that the athlete is ready to be tested in the UFC's welterweight division (77,3 kg) and do well.
“The main fight was incredible. And the fact that Fasil had so many fans here going crazy… Brito, I love your style, I love the way you fight . You had a guy taking your punches and coming at you. You threw a flying knee in the third round, tried to finish the fight and knocked him out spectacularly. I can’t wait to see you fight in the UFC , my friend. Come here,” he said.
“We were going into the third round of the main event and I thought, ‘Damn, I wish there were five rounds.’ We didn’t need five rounds, but that’s what I thought when the third round started. If you look at it, he was up against a guy who was taking all his punches and moving forward the whole time.”
“It can be very disheartening when you have a guy like that, it’s like a damn zombie coming at you and withstanding your best punches and hitting you. Look at his face. He also took some good punches, but he held on and won spectacularly in the third round.”
“Well, I don’t know. That remains to be seen. He passed the test . Now, he enters the main league and we’ll see what he can do from here on out, but the guys who come from this program have done very well in the UFC ,” he concluded.
