Shogun undergoes knee surgery and only returns in 2011

Mauricio Shogun won the UFC light heavyweight belt by defeating Lyoto Machida in May this year. Despite the triumph, the UDL leader won the fight with an injury to the cruciate ligament of his left knee and was forced to undergo surgical treatment yesterday afternoon. As Ultiamte president Dana White Shogun revealed, he will only return to the Octagon in 2011.
