One of the most anticipated fights of the tenth season of the Contender Series takes place this Tuesday (18), in Las Vegas (USA). In the second episode of the program, Kaik Brito faces Namo Fazil for the welterweight division (up to 77,1 kg). And the expectation for the fight, which was already high due to the aggressive style of the athletes, became even greater after the tense face-off held this Monday (17).

Known for his bold attitude and controversial statements, the bad boy, who stood out at Netflix's first MMA event in May, got very close to the Brazilian, nicknamed 'King of the Knockout'. Immediately, Kaik and Fazil started arguing and had to be separated by the security team.

Despite the distance, the athletes continued to taunt each other. Brito made the 'Talks Too Much' gesture with his hands, while Namo pointed at him and threatened him. Curiously, the rivals' objective in the Contender Series is the same: to impress Dana White and earn a UFC contract.

Kaik Brito, 29, is a striking specialist and former Oktagon MMA champion. The Brazilian began his MMA career in 2015 and has built a record of 19 wins, all by stoppage (16 by knockout and three by submission), and six losses.

Namo Fazil, 29, began his MMA career in 2021 and took advantage of the spotlight from Netflix's first MMA event to stand out. His performance on the show earned him an opportunity in the Contender Series. In the sport, the Iraqi has built a record of ten wins, eight by stoppage (four by submission and four by knockout), and one loss.
