The main coaches of the Fighting Nerds team have opposing views on the main fight of UFC 330 , scheduled for this Saturday (15). On that occasion, Islam Makhachev defends the welterweight belt (up to 77 kg) against Ian Garry , in a clash of completely antagonistic styles. The matchup between the athletes, in fact, divided the opinions of Pablo Sucupira and Flavio Álvaro.

In a video posted by Caio Borralho on Instagram, Flavio Álvaro predicted a victory for Makhachev by submission in the third round. According to the coach, Ian Garry wouldn't be able to keep up with the Russian's pace during the first 15 minutes and would end up being submitted before the end of the third round.

The coach highlighted the Irishman's height advantage, believing he has the physique to compete even in the middleweight division (up to 83,9 kg), as well as the challenger's ability to defend takedowns and maintain strikes without compromising his movement.
