Although the rivalry surrounding the main event of UFC 330 is getting increasingly heated with each passing day, that doesn't mean there isn't room for friendly moments. Right after the first face-off between Islam Makhachev and Ian Garry took place in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art last Tuesday (11), the Irishman's son caught the attention of those present by crying because he couldn't interact with his father's opponent, of whom he is a fan. Everything was captured on video and generated various reactions on social media.

Very patiently, Garry explained to the boy that the Russian has several press commitments as the champion, and therefore, he couldn't stay long after the face-off. However, he assured him that he would arrange a meeting between the two sometime during the week.

The champion was questioned about the fact during Wednesday's media day (12). Islam, who is the father of three children, smiled when he found out what had happened and assured that the meeting will take place during this week.
