Dana White has a bright future ahead for Bella Mir, daughter of Frank Mir . The fighter faces Alex Apodaca on August 25th in the Contender Series, seeking a UFC contract, and the organization's president believes she can win titles in four major competitions, including the UFC and the Olympic Games.
In a press conference after the start of the new season of the Contender Series, last Tuesday (11), Dana highlighted the close relationship he maintains with the young fighter and showed excitement about the moment Bella is experiencing. The executive also revealed that the athlete has ambitious plans for her career and believes that she has the potential to win titles in different modalities and organizations.

“I’m very excited about Bella; as you know, I’ve been actively involved in her life for the last four years, so it’s going to be fun,” said Dana White.
“The Olympics (Wrestling), the UFC championship, Zuffa Boxing, and UFC BJJ. She wants to win a title in all of those organizations. We talked about it; in fact, she was the one who presented me with this idea. She was ready to start fighting right after finishing high school.”
"Well, she also excelled in college (she was an NCAA champion); not only in obtaining an academic education, but also in breaking some university records. She is special," added the UFC president.
Now, Bella will have the opportunity to showcase her potential inside the octagon against Apodaca. If she wins, Frank Mir 's daughter could convince Dana White and the other program executives to secure her a spot on the roster of the world's biggest MMA event.

Bella has built a distinguished career in wrestling. In college, she became the NCAA champion in March 2026 and aims to be in the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles. She has also accumulated achievements in Jiu-Jitsu.
In professional MMA, Bella Mir debuted at 17 and is undefeated after four fights, with three wins by submission and one by decision. At 23, she now seeks to take the next step in her career against Alex Apodaca, where her UFC contract will be on the line.
