After being involved in numerous controversial episodes over the years, Jon Jones has been showing that he has indeed changed for the better. Last weekend, the MMA legend made a point of helping students in Albuquerque (USA), the city where he lives and represents in the UFC.
Former UFC light heavyweight (up to 93 kg) and heavyweight (up to 120,2 kg) champion, along with the 'Care Project', distributed 350 backpacks with school supplies to students. This was the seventh year of the charitable project, and Jones has already stated that he will continue supporting it and aims to surpass his previous record.

Furthermore, in an interview with the YouTube channel 'KOAT', the legendary fighter expressed pride in his attitude, which has a positive influence on the young people in his community. As a distinguished guest at the event, Jones took photos with fans and signed autographs while handing out backpacks.
“You know, I grew up in a very difficult situation. I didn’t always have new things or the best things. And I remember the feeling of not having the things I needed. And now that I’m in a position where I can help and give back to others, I think it’s important to do that,” said the UFC star.
