Mauricio Ruffy remains focused on achieving a 10/10 performance at UFC 331 , scheduled for September 18th. The Brazilian, who severed his ties with the Fighting Nerds team , is slated to face Arman Tsarukyan in the co-main event and, although no longer part of the São Paulo-based team, continues to be a great student of fighting, a characteristic that helped the team win the award for best in the world in 2024.

In a video posted on social media, Mauricio Ruffy analyzed his grappling training and studied his own mistakes to avoid repeating them during the fight. The Brazilian also emphasized the importance of paying attention to details during moments of "war" inside the octagon.
