Valter Walker is on fire in the UFC and has his sights set on his second fight of the 2026 season. In July, in Abu Dhabi (UAE), the Brazilian impressed again in the octagon by submitting Thomas Petersen in just over a minute. Since then, the athlete has expressed interest in facing Derrick Lewis , but now he has chosen a new target.
On his official Instagram account, Valter showed himself more than open to facing José Montanha , who just debuted for the company. At UFC Vegas 120 , an event held last Saturday (8), the athlete put on a show and finished Louie Sutherland in less than two minutes. As he has already stated that he prefers to face athletes outside the top-15 of the heavyweight division (up to 120,2 kg) rather than deal with the main fighters, the bad boy not only challenged his compatriot, but also made a provocation because of his nickname.

Valter Walker , 28, is a promising MMA fighter and is ranked in the top 15 of the UFC heavyweight division. Currently, the Brazilian is ranked eighth in the category. He began his career in the sport in 2020 and debuted in the organization in 2024. In the sport, the "bad boy" has built a record of 16 wins and one loss.
