Mateusz Gamrot headlines UFC Vegas 120 this Saturday (8), against Quillan Salkilld . The Pole has an impressive record in the organization: nine fights and nine wins in the United States. Outside of North America, however, 'Gamer's' record is negative.
The difference is striking because of Gamrot's performance. Since arriving in the UFC, the athlete has built a perfect campaign on American soil and transformed the USA into a true stage for good results in the world's largest MMA organization.

The past record becomes even more important before the next fight. In Las Vegas, the veteran will have the chance to extend his winning streak and get back on track in the lightweight division (up to 70,3 kg), against an opponent who is coming into the fight on the rise.
Besides seeking another victory, the duel against Salkilld could put the Polish fighter back on track among the top names in the division. At 35 years old, the fighter is trying to use the experience he has accumulated in the UFC to get closer to the top of the division again.
Gamrot has never won a UFC match outside of the United States.

Mateusz Gamrot has fought four UFC fights outside the United States, but is still seeking his first international victory in the organization. The Polish fighter was defeated by Guram Kutateladze and Beneil Dariush in Abu Dhabi, by Dan Hooker in Perth, Australia, and by Charles do Bronx in Rio de Janeiro.

At 35 years old, Gamrot is considered one of the top names in the UFC lightweight division. A professional since 2011, the Polish fighter has a record of 26 wins and four losses, with six wins by submission and eight by knockout. Among his career highlights are victories over names like Rafael dos Anjos , Rafael Fiziev , and Arman Tsarukyan.
