Held this Friday (7), the official weigh-in for UFC Vegas 120 went smoothly for the main names of the event. In total, 24 fighters stepped on the scale, including 10 representatives from Brazil. All were within the limit of their respective categories and confirmed their presence on the card this Saturday (8).

 

The main event fighters, Mateusz Gamrot and Quillan Salkilld , were the first to step on the scale and confirmed the main fight. Both weighed in at 70,3 kg, officially setting the duel for the lightweight division (up to 70,3 kg).

Brazilian squad in full force

In the co-main event, Carlos Diego Ferreira also confirmed his presence at the event by weighing in at 70,3 kg, the same weight as Billy Quarantillo , officially setting up the lightweight division fight. In the UFC since 2014, the Brazilian has accumulated 10 wins and seven losses in the organization. Another representative of the category, Manoel Manumito , also made weight without any issues. The Brazilian weighed in at 70,7 kg, within the limit allowed for non-title fights, and confirmed his bout against Richie Miranda.

Alexia Thainara She was the first athlete to make weight, registering 52,3 kg, even after accepting the fight at the last minute and without complete preparation. Amanda lemos She faced difficulties on the scale. The Brazilian weighed in at 53 kg on her first attempt and 52,8 kg on her second. With just over 40 minutes to cut the excess weight, she resorted to the screen and returned to register 52,3 kg, confirming the duel.

Bruno Lopes , wearing Fighting Nerds goggles, also confirmed his presence at the event, weighing in at 92,7 kg. The Brazilian will face Diyar Nurgozhay, looking to return to winning ways after two consecutive losses. In the heavyweight division, Brazilians José Montanha and Guilherme Pat also made weight. Montanha weighed in at 117,2 kg, while Pat registered 113,2 kg for their respective bouts.

Ravena Oliveira also confirmed her presence at the event, weighing in at 56,9 kg. Seeking her first UFC victory after three consecutive losses, the Brazilian will face Juliana Miller , who weighed in at the same weight and made the fight official.

In the all-Brazilian duel announced this week, Carol Foro was the first to step on the scale. Visibly exhausted from the short preparation time, the athlete weighed in at 52,6 kg and confirmed her participation in the fight. A little over an hour and a half later, Gigi Canuto also weighed in at 52,6 kg and secured her spot in the bout.
