Alexander Volkanovski doesn't yet have a defined opponent, but he has already decided to get a head start on his preparation. Since defeating Diego Lopes at UFC 325 in January, the Australian has been following the rise of potential challengers like Jean Silva and Movsar Evloev . With the Brazilian scheduled to face Yair Rodriguez at Noche UFC , the champion is planning a fight against the Russian.

In a video posted on his YouTube channel, Volkanovski indicated that, although the duel is not yet confirmed, the scenario clearly points to Evloev as his next opponent. Therefore, the champion revealed that he intends to intensify his wrestling training early on, anticipating the characteristics of his potential rival.
