The Brazilian from Fighting Nerds revealed his confidence in a possible confrontation against Michael Morales and stated that he believes he has what it takes to defeat the Ecuadorian by knockout.

In an interview with the YouTube channel 'Golpe Baixo', Prates analyzed Morales' fighting style and stated that he is not impressed by his rival's reputation as a wrestler. According to the São Paulo native, the game presented by the welterweight prospect (up to 77,1 kg) could favor a victory through striking.
