Maximum respect! Former rivals mourn the death of Allan Puro Osso: 'A true warrior and always a gentleman'

Just like Charles do Bronx , several fighters who faced Allan Puro Osso throughout their careers also decided to pay tribute to him. A prominent member of the 'Chute Boxe Diego Lima' academy, the Brazilian passed away on the morning of last Monday (3), in São Paulo, at the age of 34. According to the UFC itself, the athlete apparently suffered a heart attack while sleeping and was found unresponsive.

Upon learning of the sad news, Cody Durden , Jafel Filho , Jake Hadley , Raulian Paiva , and Ricardo Carcacinha mourned Allan Nascimento's death on their respective official Instagram profiles. In their posts, the fighters made a point of highlighting how great "Puro Osso" was both professionally and personally.

"It's unbelievable. You were the guy who most excited me to face. I followed your entire journey when it was all still a dream for me. While I was dreaming of getting there, you were already number one in Brazil. Years later, I had the honor of sharing the octagon with someone I've always admired," wrote Jafel Filho , who was defeated by Puro Osso in the UFC in 2025.

“Today, I pray for his family, his friends, Master Diego Lima, and the entire Chute Boxe team. I ask Jesus to comfort everyone's hearts during this time of great sorrow. A great legacy was left behind, and it was an immense honor to challenge someone I admired. May God watch over and strengthen the entire family. 🙏🖤,” he concluded.

“What can I say about this beast? He was one of the most formidable athletes I've ever fought. Just gratitude, brother, for this great fight we had. I still can't believe this news 😔 Rest in peace, champion. You will always be Puro Osso! Heyyy 🙏🏾🖤🥹”, wrote Raulian Paiva , who defeated Puro Osso in the Contender Series in 2018.

"May God comfort the family and loved ones. Nobody expected this news. Very sad news for everyone who knows him and for the fighting world," wrote Ricardo Carcacinha , who defeated Puro Osso in 2013.

A true warrior inside the octagon and always a gentleman every time our paths crossed outside of it. Rest in peace, brother. 🙏”, wrote Cody Durden , who was submitted by Puro Osso in the UFC in 2025.

"Sad to hear about Allan's passing. Rest in peace, brother, until we meet again ❤️," wrote Jake Hadley , who lost to Puro Osso in the UFC in 2022.

Pure Bone Fighters in MMA

Allan Nascimento, known as Puro Osso in MMA, was one of the standout fighters at the Chute Boxe Diego Lima academy and a friend of Charles Oliveira . The Brazilian began his career in the sport in 2011 and debuted in the UFC in 2021. He competed in the flyweight division.

In this fighting style, Puro Osso built a record of 22 wins, 17 by stoppage (15 by submission and two by knockout), and seven losses. His main victories were over Cody Durden , Jafel Filho , and Jake Hadley.
