Jan Blachowicz had a night to forget at UFC Belgrade . The former light heavyweight champion (up to 93 kg) was defeated in the co-main event, held last Saturday (1), being knocked out in the first round by Navajo Stirling . Despite the setback, the Polish veteran showed a resilient spirit and even some pride in leaving the octagon with yet another war scar.

How did Jan Blachowicz get the scar?
The decisive moment came in the second minute of the fight. After a competitive start, in which Blachowicz even managed to stagger his opponent, the Pole ended up being hit by a precise jab and straight punch sequence, which compromised his balance.
Subsequently, Stirling advanced aggressively to finish the fight. The prospect landed a series of elbows in ground and pound, opening a deep cut on the former champion's cheek. Faced with the situation, the referee stopped the fight, declaring a technical knockout.
