One of the most important names in the history of Russian MMA, Khabib Nurmagomedov is one of the most successful fighters of all time. However, since his retirement at the end of 2020, the Eagle has stood out as the main coach of the Dagestan Clan, becoming a present figure in the corner of names like Islam Makhachev , and the new generation is getting better and better. In an interview after the last PFL event, he spoke about the performances of Usman Nurmagomedov and Amru Magomedov, winners last Friday (31).
Speaking about the evolution of his pupils, Khabib said he believes it's a natural progression. He expects future athletes to showcase increasingly developed styles and technical skills compared to the previous generation.

Recently, he celebrated the opening of a new academy in his city. Under his tutelage, names like Islam Makhachev , and his cousins Usman Nurmagomedov and Umar Nurmagomedov have excelled in the biggest events on the planet.
