At the event held last Saturday (1st), in Serbia, the Brazilian simply destroyed Oban Elliott and knocked him out in just over a minute of fighting . In an interview with UFC Brazil, PQD made a point of emphasizing that he arrived more than prepared to make a good impression on the company . It's worth noting that the Brazilian was revealed by the Contender Series program in October and showed why his debut was so highly anticipated. Known for his athleticism and power, the professional hinted that more brutal knockouts are to come, as he considers himself a special athlete.
“I dreamed a lot about this moment, more than ten years of work. I showed how much I dedicated myself to deserve the opportunity and deliver this knockout. I worked hard for this and it would have been just another opponent. It didn't intimidate me at all. Of course, he had a lot of experience and it's good that they sent a guy who really has a good fight record in the UFC,” said the athlete.
“I trained hard for this and I deserve to be in the UFC. I showed that I'm an animal , that I belong here. I'm different . I want to make a difference, encourage people who came from the same place as me, show them the right path. I think I'm doing that. I've learned to trust myself more. I have more and more of that confidence,” he concluded.
