Michael PQD needed just over a minute to show why he carries so much hype. The Brazilian debuted in the world's largest MMA organization surrounded by expectations at UFC Belgrade and did not disappoint: with his first significant strike, he took Welshman Oban Elliott to the ground and finished the fight with an overwhelming ground and pound.

The duel began tensely, with Elliott landing good right hands that bypassed the Brazilian's guard. However, Michael's first jab was enough to completely change the course of the fight. The blow knocked his opponent down and served as a harbinger of what was to come. Following that, PQD maintained the pressure, advanced aggressively, and connected with a straight punch that again knocked his rival down, forcing the referee to stop the fight.
