Nassourdine Imavov doesn't want to miss the opportunity to fight for the middleweight title (up to 83,9 kg). Holding the longest active winning streak in the division, the Frenchman states that the UFC has already made it clear that his next fight should be a title bout . However, the recent scenario, with Sean Strickland considering a rematch against Khamzat Chimaev , has caused unease in the athlete.
In a social media post, Imavov reacted directly to the possibility and expressed irritation at seeing Strickland flirting with a rematch. The Frenchman indicated that he sees no room for changes in the plan and reiterated that he expects the decisions to follow what has already been defined by the organization.

UFC Middleweight Title Race
Despite being the favorite in the title race, Nassourdine Imavov faces strong competition in the middleweight division. Besides Khamzat Chimaev , the Frenchman is battling former champion Dricus Du Plessis and also the duo of Caio Borralho and Brendan Allen , who are further behind in the standings after being defeated by him in head-to-head races.
