UFC Belgrade weigh-in: Medic and Rodriguez make weight and confirm main event; Brazilians perform well.

Held in the early hours of this Friday (31), the official weigh-in for UFC Belgrade went smoothly for the main fighters. The main event fighters, Uros Medic and Daniel Rodriguez , top middleweights (up to 77,1 kg), fulfilled their pre-fight obligations. With only two representatives, the 'Brazilian Squad' also showed professionalism at the ceremony.

Fighting at home, Medic showed that the weight cut was quite severe, but in the end, the effort paid off. Weighing in at 77,5 kg, the relieved athlete celebrated by pounding his chest. His opponent, the veteran Rodriguez, displayed composure. Weighing in at the same weight, the American showed no reaction. As both are in the top 15 of the competitive category, the winner could break into the top 10.

In the preliminary card, in the same category, Michael PQD won the tough battle against the scale. Huge for the division, the Brazilian newcomer struggled, but managed to make weight at the limit, weighing in at 77,5 kg. Oban Elliott , his opponent, was slightly lighter, at 77,1 kg.

In the strawweight division (up to 52,2 kg), Stephanie Rondinha easily made weight at 52,1 kg. Her opponent, Marina Spasic , making her UFC debut, weighed in slightly heavier (52,3 kg), but still within the category limit.
