Jake Paul has taken another ambitious step outside the ring. This Thursday (30), Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), a company founded and run by the 'Bad Boy', announced a merger with the PFL, an organization considered the second largest in MMA in the world. The partnership marks a new phase for both companies and reinforces the influencer and boxer's intention to expand his influence in the mixed martial arts industry as well.
The announcement was accompanied by statements from Jake regarding the plans for the new structure. In an interview with ESPN's SportsCenter, the star stated that the main focus of the merger is to transform the PFL into a direct competitor of the UFC. According to him, the merger will allow for increased investment in event promotion, athlete development, and the organization's global expansion.

“We decided to join the PFL to truly change the landscape and give fighters the opportunity to reach a large audience and receive substantial purses. We will compete on equal footing with the UFC,” revealed Jake Paul.
The American highlighted that he believes in the potential of the new partnership to raise the level of the product offered to the public and create new opportunities for fighters. Paul has been advocating for changes in how MMA events are promoted and in the financial valuation of competitors.
MVP has gained notoriety in recent years by organizing major boxing events, promoting names like Amanda Serrano and Jake Paul himself , while the PFL has consolidated its place on the international stage with its regular season and playoff format, as well as hiring prominent athletes and investing in markets outside the United States.
Although the details of the operation have not yet been fully disclosed, the merger represents one of the most ambitious moves in the combat sports industry in recent years and reinforces Jake's intention to challenge the UFC's hegemony.

Beyond his work behind the scenes, Jake Paul has also built a remarkable career in the ring. He transformed his combat sports career into a phenomenon in terms of audience reach. The American decided to dedicate himself to boxing and, since then, has faced former MMA champions and professional boxers, solidifying his career in the sport.
In boxing, Jake has a professional record of 12 wins and two losses, with seven victories by knockout. Since his debut in 2020, the American has defeated names such as Tyron Woodley (twice), Anderson Silva , Nate Diaz , Mike Perry , and Julio César Chávez Jr., in addition to achieving victories over other experienced opponents.
His first career loss came in February 2023, when he was defeated by Tommy Fury by split decision, in a fight that marked his first encounter against an established professional boxer. Despite the setback, the fighter recovered and went on a winning streak.
