Renato Moicano once again brought Brazilian political polarization into the octagon. After Riquelme Fofo, representing supporters of President Lula, defeated Bolsonaro supporter Kaue Rosenberg at Money Moicano MMA 1, another ideological clash marked the event. In the 'Contender Crimes' qualifier, which determines participants for the second edition of MMA, Leo Carcacinha, a supporter of Jair Bolsonaro, submitted Renan Petista.
Leo Carcacinha started the fight controlling the distance and exploiting medium kicks. The fighter took advantage of an opponent's strike to take the fight to the ground, where he secured mount, applied pressure with ground and pound strikes, advanced to the back and finished with a rear-naked choke, forcing Renan Petista to tap out.

Although the date is not yet confirmed, Money Moicano MMA 2 is expected to take place in October. The event mixes professional fights, featuring prominent athletes on the national scene, and the so-called 'subscriber fight', a format in which Moicano pits followers against each other to settle personal differences inside the octagon.
