Brazilian striker Michael PQD will make his UFC debut next Saturday, August 1st, at UFC Belgrade . He will face Oban Elliott in the welterweight division (up to 77,1 kg) after earning a contract with the organization by delivering a brutal knockout of Victor Valenzuela in the 'Contender Series' last October.
Known for his aggressive style and ability to finish his fights quickly, Michael relies on constant pressure and powerful strikes as his main weapons inside the octagon. With a strong Muay Thai base and good movement for the weight class, the Rio de Janeiro native has built a reputation as a dangerous fighter who always seeks to impose his rhythm from the first minutes of the fight.

At 28 years old, he arrives in Belgrade as one of Brazil's most promising fighters in the welterweight division. Undefeated as a professional, with nine wins and eight knockouts on his record, the athlete is betting on his aggressive style and finishing power to begin his journey in the world's largest MMA organization with another resounding victory.
The first athlete from Rocinha to reach the UFC, Michael PQD began his martial arts journey at age 15 and built a career marked by discipline and overcoming challenges. In 2017, the Rio de Janeiro native joined the Brazilian Army as a paratrooper, where he remained for eight years, balancing his military routine with training and commitments in martial arts.
He is the only fighter who has a contract with the supplement brand Integral Medica and has a partnership with the bodybuilding content creator and singer, Leo Stronda, who was present at his contract fight.
Michael trained with Alex Poatan and Walter Walker.
