Valter Walker has not yet defined what his next step in the UFC will be. After achieving his fifth consecutive victory by submission at UFC Abu Dhabi , held last Saturday (25), the Brazilian made history in the organization , entered the top 10 of heavyweights (up to 120,2 kg) and decided to leave the choice of his next opponent in the hands of the fans.

In a post on the social network 'X', the 'foot hunter' stated that he intends to return to the octagon in the coming months and presented a list of possible rivals, including prominent names in the division and also his Brazilian rival Vitor Petrino.
“I need to fight in October or November against any of these names, what do you think? I need adrenaline. 1 – Lewis, 2 – Blaydes, 3 – Ante Delija , 4 – Spivac and 5 – Petrine,” wrote Valter Walker.

Although he made it clear that he doesn't want to accelerate his climb in the heavyweight division, Valter Walker has definitively cemented his name in the category by reaching a record of 16 wins and only one loss in his professional MMA career.
At 28 years old, the 'foot hunter' reached eighth place in the heavyweight rankings, boosted by his last performance when he needed only 1 minute and 32 seconds to finish American Thomas Petersen in the first round of UFC Abu Dhabi.
With the victory, the Brazilian achieved his fifth consecutive submission win in the octagon, all applied to his opponents' legs and resolved in the first round, equaling the historic record that belonged exclusively to the legend Demian Maia.
