Jon Jones commented again on Khamzat Chimaev 's potential and expressed confidence that the former middleweight champion (up to 83,9 kg) can still reach a higher level in the UFC. According to the American legend, the Chechen fighter has all the tools to beat any opponent in the organization, but needs to make some adjustments in how he approaches his fights to fully exploit his talent.

In an interview with ALF Global, 'Bones' explained that the assessment is based on his own experience accumulated over years as champion of the world's largest MMA organization. According to Jones, Chimaev possesses a rare technical set, capable of placing him above any opponent, provided he can better control the pace of the fights and conserve energy throughout the bouts.

"If Khamzat comes in with the right mindset, he can beat any fighter now," Jon Jones stated.

Still, the UFC legend believes this detail is fully correctable and doesn't diminish the athlete's enormous potential. According to the American, the combination of high-level wrestling, physical strength, and aggressiveness makes Chimaev one of the most dangerous competitors on the roster, capable of returning to the top and remaining there for many years, in Jones's view.

Khamzat Chimaev , 32, is considered one of the most talented athletes of the new generation in the UFC and one of the most dangerous names in the middleweight division. Known for his combination of high-level wrestling, physical strength, and extremely aggressive style, the Chechen quickly gained prominence in the organization for the dominance he imposed on his opponents and his ability to control fights on the ground.
