Current UFC middleweight champion (up to 83,9 kg), Sean Strickland is undoubtedly one of the most controversial names in MMA history. With a childhood marked by abuse and violence, the American had an adult life full of extremely dangerous episodes, such as the one he recounted during his participation in the 'Shawn Ryan Show' podcast this Monday (27). An enthusiast of firearms, he almost died while participating in a game of Russian roulette some time ago.
Recalling the traumatic situation, the middleweight champion (up to 83,9 kg) said that the only reason he was still alive was his partner's intervention. According to Strickland, she became completely desperate and prevented the "game" from continuing.

Strickland fighters in MMA
Sean Strickland , 35, is one of the best middleweight fighters in history. The American began his MMA career in 2008, debuted in the UFC in 2014, and became champion of the category in 2023 and 2026.
In sports, the athlete built a record of 31 wins and seven losses. His main victories were over Anthony Hernandez , Brendan Allen , Israel Adesanya , Khamzat Chimaev , Paulo Borrachinha , and Nassourdine Imavov.
