Undefeated boxing legend reveals training session with Cris Cyborg and claims: 'I beat her up'

Claressa Shields responded to Cris Cyborg 's challenge by recalling an old training session between the two and stating that she had complete control over the Brazilian during the activity. The world boxing champion also taunted the multi-time MMA champion, asserting that she didn't need to use her full potential in the fight.

In an interview with Ariel Helwani's YouTube channel, the owner of an undefeated record of 18 wins in professional boxing, recalled the episode and once again provoked Cris. The American downplayed the Brazilian's challenge and stated that the confrontation between the two in the ring would have a similar result to their old training session.

“What a failure… I beat her up, literally, and I wasn’t even trying. I didn’t have a mouthguard or anything. She gave up in the fourth round. She was paralyzed like a deer in headlights in the fourth round. She almost begged me not to knock her out, not to stop the fight. It was supposed to go to the sixth round. She lasted until the fourth. Girl, I can beat you up with one hand. Stop playing around,” Claressa stated.

I'm willing to move up to 72kg (160 pounds) to fight you. I'm willing to offer you two million dollars for the fight, but the fight needs to happen before the end of the year. You say you're the GWOAT (greatest female fighter of all time). If you don't accept, that acronym will stand for 'the dumbest woman of all time',” the champion revealed via her X account (formerly Twitter).
