UFC President Dana White has once again stirred up the boxing market and revealed interest in having one of the sport's leading names in his new project outside of MMA. After the Zuffa Boxing 9 event, held last Sunday (26), the executive commented on a possible agreement with an athlete who remains undefeated in his professional career and is considered one of the sport's biggest stars.
In a press conference, Dana White stated that he has already spoken with the fighter's team and highlighted his admiration for the work done by Gervonta Davis. The president, who has been expanding his involvement in boxing in recent years, seeks to strengthen the sport through the creation of Zuffa Boxing, a company linked to the TKO group, which is also responsible for the organization.

“I love Tank Davis. I’m a fan of his, actually. We’ve talked to him. I don’t think he has any plans to fight anytime soon,” Dana White stated.
Known as "Tank," the American is one of the biggest boxing phenomena today, with an aggressive style, great knockout power, and an undefeated record in professional boxing. The athlete has accumulated world titles and has become one of the main commercial attractions of the sport.
This approach reinforces the executive's interest in bringing big stars to the new boxing project. Since announcing his plans for the market, Dana has managed to sign big names like Shakur Stevenson to strengthen the brand and compete with the main events in the sport.
Despite the interest, a deal with Gervonta still seems distant. The boxer remains one of the biggest names in world boxing and, according to Dana White, has no plans to return to the ring in the short term. Even so, the statement shows that the star is on the UFC president's radar for future career moves.

Gervonta Davis, 31, is one of the biggest names in world boxing today and has established himself as one of the top stars. Known by the nickname "Tank," the Baltimore native draws attention for his combination of explosive physicality, speed, precision punches, and knockout power considered one of the most dangerous in the sport. Throughout his career, the fighter has built a reputation and become one of the most popular athletes in modern boxing.
The athlete began his professional career in 2013 and has remained undefeated in boxing ever since. Gervonta has a record of 30 wins, no losses, and one draw, with 28 knockouts. Among his main achievements are victories over names like Ryan Garcia, Rolando Romero, and Frank Martin.
