It wasn't just Valter Walker who took advantage of UFC Abu Dhabi to impress and become popular. At the event held last Saturday (25), Muhammad Saidov also made his name by debuting by knocking out Dustin Jacoby in the second round in the light heavyweight division (up to 93 kg). Happy with the result, the athlete showed all his humility by recalling what he went through to get to the organization and his history with the Brazilian.
In an interview with 'Red Corner MMA', the Russian, a friend and training partner of Valter, surprised everyone by revealing a side of him that many wouldn't even imagine. When the Brazilian's name is mentioned, people usually think of heel hooks or his funny and controversial statements.

However, Saidov made a point of showing everyone that the bad boy isn't as insane as he seems and has a kind and willing side. The athlete highlighted that Walker is always willing to help financially and doesn't demand recognition for his good deeds. Proud of his friend, the Russian expressed his gratitude, as he witnessed his kindness during difficult times.
“I really like Valter. Although his mentality is different from ours, he is a very good and kind-hearted person. He has values similar to ours. For us Russians, it is very common to help and support each other. He is not selfish at all. He is a kind and straightforward person. As Shara says, he is a kind Russian. I only have positive feelings for him,” said the fighter.
“I’ve known him since 2022 and it’s fair to say he’s matured as a fighter. I remember teaching him a few things and I like that he’s a friendly and vibrant person. He’s always willing to help. When I’m having financial problems, he secretly puts money in my bag. Once, he brought me some protein and does it quietly.”
“That’s what our religions prescribe: do good, but do it quietly. I can’t count how many times I’ve come home and found some money in my purse. I was like, ‘Who did this? Why?’ Then, when I went back to the gym, he made a sign, like, ‘Don’t tell anyone.’ I just have very affectionate feelings towards him,” she concluded.

Valter's MMA Fighters
Valter Walker , 28, is a promising MMA fighter and is already ranked in the top 15 of the UFC heavyweight division. Currently, the Brazilian is ranked 11th in the category. The athlete began his career in the sport in 2020 and debuted in the organization in 2024. In the sport, the bad boy has built a record of 16 wins and one loss.
