Dana White didn't mince words when addressing one of the most controversial topics of the week. In recent days, Ian Garry has been the target of criticism from fans and other fighters after taking a stand in favor of feminist causes, something that generated strong repercussions in the MMA world. Without directly mentioning the Irishman, the UFC president indicated that he disagrees with this type of stance.
In a post on his Instagram stories, Dana White reinforced his view on the subject by stating that, for him, so-called 'toxic masculinity' is linked precisely to the absence of masculinity.

The discussion in the MMA world began when, in an interview on the High Performance program, Ian Garry addressed personal aspects of his life and revealed that he is emotionally open, stating that he feels completely comfortable with his 'feminine side' and gave his opinion on social issues, arguing that the world would be a better place if it were led by women.
“I cry watching Disney movies. I’m so at peace with my feminine side that I think it makes me more masculine. If the world were ruled by women, we would all live in a better world. If we would just listen to them and let them take control, it would be an easier world,” said Ian Garry.
Ian Garry returns to the octagon in the main event of UFC 330 , scheduled for August 15th, where he faces Islam Makhachev for the welterweight title (up to 77 kg).
